The model is not a real-time synthesiser and does not pretend to be — the
measured speed is shown below. Rendering happens as fast as it can and then
plays back. For something that has to run live, bake a grid of loops with
engine-acoustics bake and cross-fade them.
Baked loops — this part does run live
A grid of loops simulated offline, one per operating point, cross-faded and resampled as the engine speed changes. Every sample you hear came out of the model; the browser only chooses which ones and how fast. This is what a driving simulator should use.
